The TISS Pirates Cross Country Program is one of largest and the most successful
high school xc teams in the province of Ontario. The Pirates have captured several
OFSAA Overall Cross Country titles and many team, invitational, and international
championships. Over the years, the Pirates Cross Country team has amassed
26 straight overall LGSSAA team titles, and 27 EOSSAA overall team titles. The Pirates enter the 2011 fall season with 80 dedicated athletes determined to carry on the fine tradition that has come to be known as the "Purple Pack". From the several Pirates that have run for Team Canada to the over 20 Pirates that have run down south on U.S. scholarships, "Purple Pride" is evident in all that we attempt to do. . We at TISS take pride in our success and strive to create excellence in all our athletes through sport and academics.
